Kimi Selfridge is a sweet NYC-based photographer who snaps under the name Tan Camera. Her photos are like a soft kiss on the cheek—romantic, memorable and a little wistful. Most often she shoots on film, 35mm and Fuji Film, so when we ran into her and said hey shoot some SXSW sweet stuff for us, she was like—"I'm on film!"—which is clearly ill-suited to the we-wanna-see-it-right-now voraciousness of the internet. So instead she ran around with her iPhone capturing candid moments onstage and backstage with some of SXSW's most stylish acts, including MS MR, Tei Shi, Sun Club, Astr, Summer Moon (Nikolai Fraiture's new crew), Marina and the Diamonds, George Maple and more. The results are below—the antithesis of high def. Sometimes sharp focus hurts our eyes.
