On August 31, 2014, Quincy Enunwa was arrested after an alleged domestic violence dispute with his girlfriend at the Wyndham Hamilton Park Hotel in Florham Park, NJ. Her criminal complaint alleges that Enunwa committed the assault by "grabbing the [her] by her ankle and pulling her off a bed causing her to strike and injure both her head and finger." He was charged with domestic violence simple assault.

On October 15, 2014, Enunwa was cleared of the charge because the victim decided not to pursue it. The two sides reached a conditional agreement in which there would be no contact between Enunwa and the woman for 90 days.

On October 19, 2015, the NFL suspended Enunwa for four games without pay for violating the NFL Personal Conduct Policy. According to ESPN, this was reduced from the usual six-game standard reprimand for players and coaches because of Enunwa's "cooperation and remorse."

Enunwa did not return Broadly's request for comment.
