The curtain may have fallen on a dumb, shitty Cincinnati Bengals football season, but there really is no offseason when it comes to Bengals players acting dumb and shitty. In that spirit, team captain Adam "Pacman" Jones was booked into police custody at 12:25 a.m. Tuesday morning on misdemeanor charges of assault, disorderly conduct, and obstructing official business. There is also a felony count of "harassment with a bodily fluid," which…actually let's discuss harassment with a bodily fluid in the next paragraph.

For one: that doesn't sound good, or like a nice thing to do to someone. According to workers in the Hamilton County Clerk of Court's Office, Jones was accused of spitting on a jail nurse.

The trouble began when Jones allegedly started banging on the door and cursing at a security guard in the 100 block of West Eighth Street in Cincinnati. Jones then cursed at the guard and poked him in the eye. Police officers that arrived claimed that Jones tried to flee the scene, and that he also kicked and head-butted the officers while refusing to enter the police car.

This isn't Pacman's first brush with the law, of course. The defensive back, who was drafted by the Titans in 2005, has a laundry list of offenses, perhaps the most famous of which was a strip club shooting incident in 2007. He has played with the Bengals since 2010.

A Bengals spokesperson said the organization is, "…working to gather full information, but policy is that it's inappropriate for the Club to comment on unresolved legal matters."

Jones' next court date has been set for January 13.
