Chris Broussard Goes After Bomani Jones for Making Fun of Re-Virginized Russell Wilson

ESPNers Bomani Jones and Chris Broussard got into a little spat about Russell Wilson and Ciara not having sex. Good times.

On Dan Le Batard's show (on ESPN!) Highly Questionable, Bomani Jones and the gang were discussing Russell Wilson's god-inspired celibacy. Jones was not all that interested in the story, really, but said he didn't think Russell Wilson or Ciara were particularly stupid, so they would probably be having sex soon. ESPN reporter Chris Broussard, who once said being gay is "an open rebellion to God," will not stand for this.

(1 of 2) @bomani_jones on @HQonESPN regarding Russell/Ciara u implied people trying 2 do it Jesus' way by waiting till marriage r stupid.

(2 of 3) @bomani_jones u owe all Bible-believing Christians trying to live as Russell/Ciara are an apology
— Chris Broussard (@Chris_Broussard) July 7, 2015

@bomani_jones if u criticized the sex attitudes of any other group you'd b criticized intensely. Why do u feel free to criticize Christians?
— Chris Broussard (@Chris_Broussard) July 7, 2015

@bomani_jones I saw u say "stupid" not silly…"neither of them look stupid." So is Tim Tebow stupid bc u don't agree with him?
— Chris Broussard (@Chris_Broussard) July 7, 2015

@bomani_jones it's got nothing to do with "controlling women." It ain't like Russell's asking Ciara to do something that he's not doing too
— Chris Broussard (@Chris_Broussard) July 7, 2015

@bomani_jones it's one thing to say you disagree or even think someone/thing is wrong, but you said "stupid," which is where u were wrong
— Chris Broussard (@Chris_Broussard) July 7, 2015

@bomani_jones how is waiting counterproductive? I guess u think promiscuity that leads to disease, Fatherlessness, etc. is productive.
— Chris Broussard (@Chris_Broussard) July 7, 2015

@bomani_jones if Jesus ain't your Lord, that's perfectly fine. But don't call those who try 2 follow him stupid.
— Chris Broussard (@Chris_Broussard) July 7, 2015

Man! That's a lot of talk about people not fucking. And here's the thing that gets lost in all this talk about Bibles and Jesuses that I don't really think should be forgotten: Russell Wilson said God spoke to him through a mirror and told him not to have sex with his pop star girlfriend Ciara.
