BT has never been a producer to wade into one side of the genre-pool for too long. While the original history of trance's purist nature has certainly been shedded into a beast of a different brand, the innovative producer is still working tirelessly to continue developing his complex auditory-melting pot with every release and new project. He's made tracks with downtempo flavor, ones with a brain-skewing amount of vocal edits (in 2003 he won the Guinness World Record for the largest number of vocal edits in a track), glitchy-bass drops, or the inclusion of classical elements. His current release "Paralyzed," a collaboration with vocalist Christian Burns, certainly finds the producer on the more radio-friendly, main-stage appropes end of the spectrum, but that's not to say he's diluted his complex instrumentation in the slightest.

The video features the two artists from in front of a smoky dark backdrop, occasionly transitioning between a moving metropolis, all the while consumed by the song's lyrics of helplessness in the face of the big L. BT, who's new band with Christian Burns, All Hail The Silence, is opening for Erasure on their fall tour. Watch him jam on a guitar throughout the video while his rollercoaster of a production sends the listener up, down and all the way around.
