Looking for a feel-good story of an athlete who's done right? Look no further than Montreal Canadiens star P.K. Subban.The two-time All-Star defenseman is donating $10 million to the Montreal Children's Hospital Foundation. The hospital is calling the donation the biggest philanthropic commitment ever by a Canadian athlete. Subban, the 2012-13 Norris Trophy winner, and the hospital will also partner to launch P.K.'s Helping Hand, a fund that will assist vulnerable families facing financial burden due to a child's illness."It is really an amazing feeling to be here," Subban said. "I am proud to walk in the footsteps of my idol Jean Beliveau by giving back to the community and feel privileged to be able to help transform the lives of sick children and their families."As a result of Subban's significant financial contribution, the hospital named its atrium after him.

Subban, 26, is one of the highest-paid players in the NHL after inking an eight-year deal worth a reported $72 million in 2014.Born in Toronto, Subban has spent his entire career with the Canadiens after the team selected him in the second round of the 2007 draft. He scored a career-high 15 goals and 60 points last season."Montreal has become my second home," he said.
