Yoko-Zuna’s New Video Is a Cross Between ‘House Party’ and ’Funny Games’

The Auckland electronic/hip-hop act return with the latest in their 'shared universe' series of videos.

When we last caught up with Yoko-Zuna things were steaming up in a late night laundromat during their "One's Cycle" video.

Directed by Yoko drummer Swap Gomez, the sequel "Yes", featuring Heavy and Randa, picks up the morning after the laundromat make-out session, and involves a conservative family dealing with their less conservative children.

Taken from the Auckland electronic hip-hop four-piece's 2016 EP Luminols, the video shows Heavy robbing a convenience store with a water gun and Randa arriving in a 1959 Ford Fairline to cause bedlam at the family's home.

The video comes as part of a "shared universe" of music videos that the Yoko guys are creating, that will eventually culminate in a series of 10-minute short films. Cop it below.
