Virgo, February 2018

There's an eclipse this month, Virgo, are you prepared?

It’s Aquarius season! As the Sun travels through this cool Air sign, you will find yourself adjusting your routines and schedule, and you'll be refocusing on health and self-care, especially during the eclipse mid-month. Later this month, the Sun moves into empathetic, creative Water sign Pisces, and illuminates the relationship sector of your chart—dreamy! Let’s take a look at what February holds in store for you, Virgo:

Your planetary ruler Mercury connects with action planet Mars on February 3, creating a productive energy. This is a fantastic time to manage items on your to-do list. Mars knows how to get things done, and Mercury knows just who to talk to in order to make things happen. You will have the energy and confidence to problem-solve issues, especially at home and work.

Venus, the planet of love, money, and beauty, enters Water sign Pisces on February 10, bringing good vibes to your relationships. It’s a wonderful time to meet someone new, or for romance to rekindle in your partnerships—even your nonromantic relationships will feel a boost as charming Venus moves through big-hearted Pisces. This is a profound time to reflect on forgiveness, too. Address the resentments you may be holding onto within your partnerships, Virgo!

Mercury squares off with over-the-top Jupiter on February 13. While you will have to watch out for exaggerations and arrogance, Jupiter’s lucky vibe, in connection with Mercury’s networking abilities, means this an exciting time for you at work and around communication. The energy is going to feel optimistic—have something you need to persuade someone of? Try it at this time, but be conscious about being honest (and, if someone is trying to sell you something at this time, be smart!).

The most critical day of the month, astrologically speaking, is February 15: the solar eclipse in Aquarius. A solar eclipse is a super-charged new moon—like any new moon, you can expect new beginnings to take place; however, because this is an eclipse, it will happen in an even more dramatic, surprising fashion. Eclipses are all about putting us on our path to our destiny; specifically for you, Virgo, this eclipse will shake things up at work and around your self-care routine if you're not where you are meant to be.

In many ways, you are very flexible, but you can be controlling, especially about your routine— now is not the time to keep doing things your way, especially if your way is not actually giving you the results you are looking for. Be honest with yourself if your habits aren't supporting you, or are just routines you've fallen into and are too comfortable to leave behind.

Also on the day of the eclipse, your planetary ruler Mercury will connect with electric Uranus, bringing about brilliant strokes of genius, as well as some surprising news. Eclipses find us seeing things in a new light, and with Mercury and Uranus working well together, you'll be able to iron out any awkward situations as you make the necessary adjustments in your life during this extra-special new moon. If you need help kicking a bad habit, this is certainly a good time to reach out for assistance. Sweet Venus will also connect with the planet of responsibility, Saturn, on this day—a productive time to discuss agreements, as people will be eager to get along and to focus on serious issues.

Mercury and the Sun meet in Aquarius, finding you focusing on issues concerning your health, habits, and your daily work, before both of them enter Pisces—Mercury on February 17, and the Sun on February 18. This will your focus to your relationships. Pisces is your opposite sign, but opposites not only attract—they also get things done, so long as they commit being on the same team. You’re logical, down to earth, and Pisces is whimsical, a poet. These are two very different energies, but a fantastic imagination (like Pisces) can’t manifest anything without organization (a skill you excel in). This is a wonderful occasion to consider the give-and-take in your relationships. A climax or turning point around a project, plan, or wish you had for yourself around your birthday last year is also likely to reach a point of culmination.

Venus meets Neptune on February 21, and your planetary ruler Mercury meets Neptune on February 25. These are ultra-romantic days to watch out for this month, but keep your feet firmly planted on the ground, because they're also days on which it will be easy to be swept away by delusions.

The month wraps up with Mercury clashing with Mars and then connecting with Pluto, so expect some important conversations to arrive, especially concerning your personal life. Get clear on your boundaries and how much you want to share with people outside of your very inner circle. Good luck this month, Virgo, and see you in March!
