Mercury was retrograde in your sign for most of January, dear Capricorn, but now it's direct: You're thinking clearly, feeling confident, and ready to move on to the next chapter in your life. February brings some wild, intense energy. As the sign of success, however, you will succeed (obviously).

The month opens with some helpful, communicative sextiles: one between Mars and Pluto and another between the Sun and your ruling planet, Saturn on January 3. When warrior Mars and power planet Pluto come together, it will help connect you with exciting, energetic, and powerful people. The impressions you make today will be killer (both Mars and Pluto are energies all about power and domination). The Sun in innovative Aquarius connects with structure loving Saturn on this date as well, bringing you some surprise support around your finances, or helping you realize that there's some talent you can cash in on that you were previously unaware of. Again, Cap, you are the sign of success, and there are many, many ways you can reach "the top."

One of the most intense days of the month for you is February 5, when sweet Venus meets the lord of the underworld, Pluto, in your sign. You definitely won't be in the mood for bullshit today, especially not around your relationships! Deep transformations will go down, and you'll be eager to get to the bottom of any personal issues that could be creating difficult dynamics in relationships.

On a bad day, Pluto can bring out the shadier, more manipulative side of people, and even darling Venus can be vulgar and vain. Watch out for shitty behavior, and reach out to someone unbiased, like a therapist (Pluto rules deep analysis, so this is totally appropriate). It will be super helpful to find someone who can help you sort out your feelings and spot people who may be screwing you over— sometimes it's much easier to see what's going on when you're not in the drama. That said, the energy between seductive Venus and powerful Pluto could also manifest as some intense attraction and majorly hot sex. Anything could happen today, but whatever it is, it's sure to be a transformative experience.

February 8 brings the New Moon in Aquarius, which will be awesome for your financial situation and for issues concerning your self-esteem. Often, what we have materially dictates how we feel about ourselves. This New Moon is an excellent time to reflect on these issues and start fresh around your budget and finances, as well as around issues involving self worth. Aquarius is one the most logical and friendly signs in the zodiac, and it's an excellent problem solver. You can be a little pessimistic at times—thanks to Saturn, your grumpy planetary ruler—but there's no reason to fear for your financial outlook when genius Aquarius is the sign the New Moon is falling in.

One of the loveliest days this month is February 10, when sweet Venus trines generous Jupiter. Venus is currently in your sign, where it's blessing you with all the goods it's got. Venus rules beauty, love, and money, and it's the planet of harmony, so people are definitely super attracted to you at this time. Jupiter is currently in fellow Earth sign Virgo, activating the part of your chart that rules travel, exploration, learning, and adventure. Virgo is the sign of flawlessness, and Jupiter is the planet of abundance. Combine lovely Venus and lucky Jupiter, and we can only bet that good news, fun, and excitement will be coming your way.

On February 13, Mercury enters Aquarius, followed by Venus entering Aquarius on February 16. Mercury is the planet of communication, so logical Air sign Aquarius is an awesome placement for it. Venus is all about desire, but she mellows out a bit in Aquarius, preferring to keep things friendly and chill. February 19 marks the beginning of the end of the winter season (can you believe it?), with the Sun entering Pisces, the last sign in the zodiac. The Sun in Pisces will be illuminating the sector of the zodiac that rules your mind, Capricorn; since Pisces is one of the most psychic, creative, and imaginative signs in the zodiac, expect a boost in your intuition and an increased desire to communicate, write poetry, sing songs, and express yourself.
