It's an extremely busy September for you, Capricorn, but that's exactly how you like it. This summer has been a wretched combination of dramatic and slow, with Venus (planet of love and prosperity) retrograde in the sign of spectacle and strength, Leo. Fortunately, that ends very soon—on September 6, to be precise.

But before then, Mars (also in Leo) will meet Venus on September 1, which should be at least a little entertaining. Mars, the warrior, fights its way through the zodiac, and when it finally reaches seductive Venus, there's a gasp in the heavens: Has happily ever arrived?! Of course not, as any pessimistic Capricorn could tell you—the planets are always in motion. Mars and Venus will drift apart again: Mars is moving forward through the sign of the lion, but Venus is moving backward.

Venus isn't ready to move forward; you need to do some more reflection and some more baggage clearing before Venus can move on. Leo is a sunny, optimistic Fire sign, the popular life of the party. As the ruler of love, harmony, and basically all things good, Venus adores being in Leo—it's so fun and glamorous! But when she's retrograde, the vibe is a little sensitive. Do they think I'm special? Can anyone see me? asks Venus in Leo. This Venus retrograde has been especially sensitive for you, Capricorn, reminding you of people or situations you may have long ago pushed out of your memory. Issues around sharing (whether that means money or intimacy) will have come to the forefront. Sex and passion are huge demands for you right now, but you've always been a lusty goat, so that's nothing new.

When Mars and Venus meet, you'll likely experience some feeling of closure or understanding around your wants and your desires. Venus has just tiny bit more cleaning up to do, it won't be long until it's direct, at which point you'll finally feel some direct motion around all the Venus ruled stuff in your life (love, money, beauty, you know the deal). The next time Venus and Mars meet is very soon: on November 3, 2015. By then, they will be in Virgo, the sign of innocence and service—themes that should make for an interesting time.

There's a New Moon solar eclipse in fellow Earth sign Virgo on September 13, which will be a super exciting (and intense) time filled with new beginnings and likely a little anxiety— eclipses slam us with all sorts of feelings, news and events. They can be very overwhelming, even though eclipses do have this magical, fated vibe to them. This eclipse will do two things for you, Capricorn. Firstly, it will bring in new opportunities or experiences that are crucial for you to move forward in your career or to climb the social ladder. You're totally ruthless when it comes to success, Capricorn, so this eclipse will be a wet dream for you; however, keep in mind that the eclipse is in mutable, flexible Virgo, so you'll need to be a little more go with the flow than you typically are. Self-promotion, and hype in general, will also be themes you'll be working with.

Additionally, this eclipse will find you expanding your mind and your physical horizons. Whether it's traveling abroad, or returning to school, or embracing some new philosophy, some adventure around learning, growing, and new experiences is coming your way. If life's felt a little slow during Venus retrograde, no worries, the eclipse will pick up the pace. We have another eclipse later this month, but first let's talk about September 17, which will be one of the more hectic days of the month—especially for you, Capricorn.

On September 17, Mercury turns retrograde in intellectual Air sign Libra; Jupiter in realist Virgo opposes Neptune in dreamy Pisces; and Saturn, your ruling planet, enters Fire sign Sagittarius, the explorer. That's a lot of cosmic action all for one day.

Mercury, the planet of communication and logic, retrograde in Libra, is all about rethinking and reconsidering our commitments, judgments and relationships. For you, Capricorn, this will manifest in a big way in your career, especially in terms of whom you choose to associate with on a professional level. Who is sitting at your cool kids table, Cap? It might be time to think it over. Maybe invite someone new to join you? Or maybe kick out that dummy who's always mean to you. You don't need anyone creating drama or messing with your business. You've already spent a lot of time reflecting on relationships this summer—especially on what you think is fair and reasonable for two (or more) people to split and share—so this Mercury retrograde in Libra, that sign of relationships, is one you're well prepared for.

The only issues I strongly urge you to be mindful about during this Mercury retrograde are ones concerning your career— expect some back and forth and renegotiations. We had a Mercury retrograde in Libra last fall, too, so think back to last October for some hints on what sorts of themes you'll be working with this time around. The Jupiter opposition to Neptune should be interesting as well: Oppositions are like cosmic confrontations, and between Jupiter (a planet that loves to exaggerate) and Neptune (a planet all about delusion), you might wake up around some philosophy you've been buying that maybe doesn't sit well with you anymore. Additionally, if something in your life has been blow way out of proportion, today is the day you realize exactly how that's affecting you, and why you (or they) fell for it in the first place.

The real big news on the 17 is that Saturn, your ruling planet, will enter Sagittarius, marking a new phase in your life. Saturn was briefly in Sagittarius from December 23, 2014 until June 14, 2015—think back to that chunk of time, because it's basically a preview of what you'll be working with from September 17 until December 17, 2017. Saturn is all about our structures; often, this planet brings us huge challenges concerning the sign it's located in—and huge rewards, too, especially if you can behave maturely and responsibly (which shouldn't be too hard for you, Capricorn, since you have a humungous stick up your ass). We all have our blind spots, and being that Sag is the sign directly behind you… well… that's your literally blind spot.

Saturn in Sagittarius will show you all the ways you trip yourself up that you weren't even aware of. Expect your bad habits to be exposed, especially the ways that you're unintentionally, or thoughtlessly, hurting your body and mind. Once Saturn in Sag whips you into shape on that end, you can expect a major change in the way you communicate and even in your belief system— after all, changing out habits usually requires us to shift or take on a new philosophy.

As stoic as you appear, Capricorn, you're pretty extreme. I mean, you were born during the darkest time of year. The Sun enters Libra on September 23, which is the fall equinox, the date at which there's a balance between night and day. Libra falls in the sector of the sky that rules your career and you legacy. People may love stereotyping Capricorn as the workaholic, but Cap, you can't help it— work is simply where you find your balance. The Sun in Libra will reconnect you to this truth, as well as Mercury retrograde in Libra and the Full Moon lunar eclipse in Aries on September 27.

This lunar eclipse in Aries will unveil a huge desire in you, one you may have been pretending for a long time wasn't there: to have a happy, safe, comfortable home that compliments your lifestyle totally and completely. You are the least domestic of all the signs, Capricorn, but that doesn't mean you don't want your dream home. Often, unexpected or dramatic things can go down during an eclipse, and this time around, it will occur in your home or family life. Remember: If the shit hits the fan, that means things probably weren't working to begin with, so it's all for the best when problems are revealed.

As the month closes with the Sun in harmonious, charming Libra, I want you embrace the concept of balance in your life. Without it, nothing can work—and work, Capricorn is what you do. If you can create a safe, warm, comfy space for you to unwind after a hard day pumping out your genius work, then your relationships, health, and social life will greatly improve. Mercury will be retrograde, so it's all right if you make a few mistakes or screw ups along the way—the beauty of a retrograde is that you can fix whatever goes awry or try again later. You're starting a new journey with your ruling planet, Saturn, in Sagittarius, so start it off on the right foot (or, hoof, or fin, or whatever you've got going on down there, Capricorn)!
