How Do You Blend In?

In our second episode of Style & Error, host Rachael Finley meets with Juggalettes, drag queens, and the Kardashian's makeup artist, Joyce Bonelli, to explore how various subcultures use makeup to contour their identities.

In our second episode of Style & Error, host Rachael Finley (a.k.a Steak) explores the ways that we use makeup to identify with a tribe and set ourselves apart from the mainstream.

First, she travels to the annual Gathering of the Juggalos in Thornville, Ohio, to investigate how fans of the Insane Clown Posse use face paint to brand themselves as one big family. Then Rachael travels back home to Los Angeles to meet drag queens Willam Belli and Alaska Thunderfuck 5000. The stars of RuPaul's Drag Race clue her in on the language of drag and how to successfully transform her face with contouring. She also meets Joyce Bonelli, the famed makeup artist to the Kardashians, who reveals how makeup has shaped her career and the look of America's most recognizable family.
