Drag Queens Trixie and Katya Savagely Rate Our Worst Nightmares

Watch Trixie Mattel and Katya Zamolodchikova divulge their biggest fears—like losing internet service—and argue over a morbid game of Would You Rather.

While drag duo Trixie Mattel and Katya Zamolodchikova are already widely celebrated for their ability to flawlessly dissect a topic off-script from start to finish, their show’s newly added skits and structured segments have only added shine to their typical talk routine. With bits such as “Male Bag,” “Men on the Street,” and “Asking for a Friend” added to the show flow, their favorite topics are receiving even more thoroughgoing reads.

This week on THE TRIXIE & KATYA SHOW, the stars discuss their worst fears, and all the creepy factors that make these things so frightening. In order to compare and contrast the things that give us the heebie-jeebies, our queens introduce us to a new segment of their show, called “Which Is Worse?” The game is somewhat of a new-and-improved take on “Would You Rather” —from hell.

What’s a scarier fate in 2017, living without the internet, or without a cell phone? Unfortunately, for a lot of us, those two things are synonymous.

There’s no clear answer here, but we know staying offline is never an option. Trixie and Katya seem to agree. In fact, they find the feat so loathsome that they’d much rather give up primary bodily functions than their access to the web; the circulatory system, who needs it? It’s safe to say that Katya speaks for self-sacrificing millennials everywhere when she says, “You can take my skin, scalp, half of my organs, all of my toes and fingers, but give me that dial-up connection.”

Somehow this banter segways into a battle between impotency and lack of size “down there.” But hey, let’s try not to body-shame here. Good things come in small packages… right?

Last, but not least, we find ourselves at a crossroads between a lonesome death in outer space and sinking to our end on a cruise ship. Sure, neither fate is optimal, but Trixie is right; dying in space is way less glamorous. And, with that, she ends with a word of advice for your demise: “If you’ve got time to throw your jewelry into the ocean, put a little lipstick on.”

For more fears, phobias, and all those creepy in-betweens, tune into tonight’s episode of THE TRIXIE & KATYA SHOW. 10 PM on VICELAND. Set a reminder. We’re afraid you’ll miss out.
