Broadly: Why do you oppose Trump's immigration restrictions?

Trisha, 18, Scarborough: I think that Trump's immigration restrictions are unreasonable when it comes to security. There are a lot of other threats that can harm the country than the presence of minorities that are being rejected. The ban creates an "us vs. them" mentality, which is exactly what terrorists want. It is unconstitutional and goes against democracy

How do the restrictions impact you or your loved ones?

I am not from any of the seven Muslim-majority countries and I don't have to be. I am a human who is deeply concern about Trump's rhetorics that can normalize hate. I am also a Canadian Muslim and I am worried what the future will hold for the rest of us. Does it get worse or better?

"If I could tell President Trump one thing about these immigration restrictions, I would say…"

To look at the real problems. These Immigrants are not the problem and the restrictions imposed will not solve the problems within the country. In fact, this divisive immigration policy creates more issues and predicament. It's creating monsters and tearing families apart.
