You're so ready for things to change, Libra, and I'm happy to report that December will bring plenty of opportunities for renewal. December has an exciting start: The planet of communication, Mercury, trines Uranus on December 1. Uranus is innovative, rebellious, and electric. Uranus is constantly looking to the future and is thought of by astrologers as the planet of genius; as such, it's often called the "higher octave" of logical, information loving Mercury. Your partnerships—romantic and otherwise—will benefit from this boost in energy. Surprising messages and unexpected commitments could come your way. "Unusual" is a word we often tie to Uranus, so expect the unexpected in your relationships today, Libra.

But it's not all rosy and easy for communication early this month. Mercury squares Jupiter on December 4, forcing you to figure out exactly how much of what's being said is true and what's just an exaggeration (blame that last bit on Jupiter). Some arguments will come up today, but if anyone can smooth things over, it's you—after all, you are the sign of diplomacy.

Your ruling planet, Venus, enters sexy Scorpio on December 4, which will highlight the money sector of your chart in a major way! Venus is all about the good stuff—love, beauty, and luxuries—so having Venus cross this point in the sky is major for you in terms of making big bucks. Scorpio is an intuitive and creative Water sign, so you'll also be checking in with yourself on an emotional level, reflecting on your self-esteem and considering what's valuable to you. Scorpio's a sign that's all about death and endings: Toss out that trash that doesn't mean anything to you anymore, Libra!

More fun and welcome surprises will come your way when the Sun trines Uranus on December 8, especially involving your partnerships. However, some fights might pop up on December 10 when Mars, the planet of war (which, by the way, is currently in your sign, energizing you and making you seem a bit more aggressive than usual) opposes Uranus. The 10th will be one of those days where you feel like you have to take action or you'll snap. Capricorn's all about tradition and history, and with talkative Mercury hanging out in this sign, you'll be spending a lot of time walking down memory lane, chatting up a storm with whomever will sift through old photo albums with you. Every day is throwback Thursday, as far as you're concerned, for much of December! Huge shifts happening in your home and family life will make you super sentimental and sappy.

Lately—especially toward the end of November—you have been pretty confused about what your schedule should look like or how to structure your day-to-day life. This is all thanks to hazy Neptune hanging out in dreamy Water sign Pisces. Things are starting to become a little clearer, and December 11 will bring some positive vibes around your workflow, your daily chores, and your habits. On this date, Venus, in Water sign Scorpio, will trine Neptune in Pisces. This is a sensitive, soft, and understanding combination, one that will create more ease around your responsibilities. Maybe things won't be clearer, but under this influence, things will certainly feel much smoother.

Mercury meets Pluto (both of them in Capricorn) on December 19, again bringing up themes around your safe space. The Sun enters Capricorn on December 21, marking the Winter Solstice and highlighting the home and family center of your chart. It's time to get domestic and reflect on your roots, Libra! Your sign and Capricorn actually have more in common than you would think— you're both Cardinal signs, meaning you usher in a new season. You rule over Autumn, while Capricorn rings in Winter.
