In our monthly horoscopes, we provide a more in depth look at what's happening in the sky. If you are not a Taurus and/or don't care about Tauri, you can read the rest of our monthly horoscopes here. Many "If you're a Taurus…" bios in astrology books and websites paint a lush, domestic scene. Taurus is always depicted lounging on some rococo style furniture, eating truffles flecked with edible gold, wearing silk with flowers in her hair. It's not a bad life! You, Taurus, are the sign of decadence, but as for the domestic piece in this equation, you are so, so, so fucking tired of thinking about home, family, your house or apartment, your roommates, or your idiot landlord/super. You're done with domesticity—the very thought of it makes you gag. Don't worry Taurus; things are shifting soon enough.

This drama around the home is largely Venus' fault. Venus, which is your ruling planet, has been retrograde in flashy, stage-hog Leo since July 25, but it will soon shift direct on September 6: Yes! Forward motion is coming, especially around all these domestic themes we've just touched on. Before that happens, we do have Mars (also in loud and proud Leo) and Venus meeting on September 1. Mars is the warrior god, so you'll feel a little boost around managing the drama that you've got going on at home. No, you probably won't be happy, but at least things will finally feel like they're working and moving.Mars and Venus will meet again later this fall on November 3. At that point, they will be in Virgo, a fellow Earth sign, which will send many blessings of the cute, fun, romantic, creative variety your way. When Mars and Venus meet, we expect fireworks and happily ever after endings… but, of course, nothing lasts forever, the planets are always in motion, and Mars and Venus will always do this dance in the heavens. This time around, the vibe will be a little bittersweet, but in November, things will feel a little more Mars and Venus-y (as in, sexy, fun and creative). On September 13, there's a New Moon in Virgo. This New Moon is very special: It's a solar eclipse! Eclipses are super intense times when things are revealed to us. Eclipses introduce us to destiny: Nothing's ever the same after an eclipse. While people love to say that Taurus is the sign that's most resistant to change, I think the changes coming up will be ones you're happy to welcome into your life. This eclipse is going to attract a lot of flirtations, fun, parties, and creativity into your life. News around fertility may even pop up, so if you're not trying to make anything like that happen, be extra careful. While this eclipse is going to be major for you in terms of having fun, it will also bring some wonderful news or lessons around getting organized or picking up some much need healthy habits. There's another eclipse later this month, but first let's talk about mid September, which will be a super busy time for you.

September 17 is one of the most hectic days of the month. Mercury retrograde in Libra begins (the horror!). This retrograde will be a little inconvenient, but listen: If you approach this transit from the get-go with the mindset that your daily schedule is more of a suggestion than an actual series of commitments, you'll be fine. Allow your self extra time to get to and from places. Mostly, be really, really fucking kind to yourself. This is a very exhausting month, with our two eclipses and planets going retrograde and direct all over the place. This Mercury retrograde in charming Libra will turn your day-to-day life on its head, but you'll survive. Think back to the scheduling changes that occurred for you in October 2014. This September you're basically taking what happened then to the next level.Mercury retrograde isn't all that goes down on the 17: We also have Saturn entering Sagittarius, beginning a new two-year cycle in your life; plus, Jupiter in down-to-earth Virgo will oppose Neptune in dreamy, wishy-washy Pisces.Saturn is the planet of obstacles and restrictions. It's not an easy planet to work with—it tends to bring out difficulties relating to the sign it's transiting. However, if you can embrace Saturn's vibe (which means acting maturely and conservatively and respecting your elders) things can work out very, very successfully for you. Sagittarius is a very optimistic, driven sign. It rules fun, travel and philosophy. Saturn will ask you to approach all these themes super maturely: You may have to redefine what fun means to you over the next two or so years, and issues around travel (or exploration in general) will likely come up a lot for you. Philosophy, spirituality, and even religion are also important issues related to Sag— will you have an awakening of some kind?

Also important to watch out for during this period are issues concerning money, particularly other people's money, whether it be inheritances or sharing a bank account with a significant other. Saturn wants to consolidate, but Sagittarius wants to expand. The two of them together form a strange combination, especially since they both think they're right about everything, but it should be an interesting journey. Saturn will be in Sag until December 17, 2017, so you have a long time to work through these issues.Lastly, the 17 will also have lucky planet Jupiter in Virgo opposite Neptune in Pisces. This is another strange combination. Jupiter and Neptune are both spiritual, expansive energies, so when they clash, it's a big deal. This combination will play out very strongly in your social and creative life, revealing to you (or confronting you with) some truths that you weren't previously aware of. This doesn't need to mean someone was lying to you, necessarily: It's possible you all were lying to yourselves. Whatever it is, once you see it, you won't be able to unsee it—and that's a good thing because you've had some delusion or confusion going down that needed to be addressed. If you have any weird fuck buddy/soul mate situations going on in your life, you might receive some clarity today.
