2016 is off to a great start for 43-year-old virgin Mohammed Abad. His penis was ripped off in a car accident at age six, and last year Abad opened up about getting a new bionic penis thanks to a three-year long medical procedure. This week in the British tabloid the Sun, Abad revealed he would finally get deflowered—by a sex worker named Charlotte Rose.

The New York Daily News has described Rose as a dominatrix. In an interview with the Sun, Rose says she received no cash to have sex with Abad later this week. "I am so honoured that he chose me to take his virginity," she told the tabloid. "We plan to have a dinner date so we can get to know each other and then two hours of private time. I'm not charging him." Abad sounded even more excited. "I have waited long enough for this—it'll be a great start to the new year," he told the newspaper. "My penis is working perfectly now so I just want to do it."

Abad's doctor formed his penis from a skin graft. According to plastic surgeon and reconstructive urologist Dr. Curtis Crane, many patients' new penises take months to work in a sexual situation. Crane has not treated Abad, but he has performed many phalloplasties in the United States. "The issue is that nerves grow about a millimeter a day," Crane tells Broadly. "It takes nine months to feel sensation."

With his previous patients, Crane says, 99 percent have felt tactile sensations in their penis. These are the same you feel in your hands when someone touches you. 85 percent of his patients, he says, also experience erogenous sensation in their dicks, allowing them to feel sexual pleasure.

Abad isn't the only one who will benefit from this sexual encounter: Rose could see her business increase following her session with Abad, according to sex worker Sydney Leathers. For a few weeks at least, Rose's profile will rise, which will lead to more men finding her site. "It's good and bad," Leathers tells Broadly. "Being in the press is very risky for any type of sex worker. Sometimes the risk isn't worth the reward."

We'll have to wait and see how Rose and Abad's dinner and two hours of fun go.
