Broadly: Why do you oppose Trump's immigration restrictions?

Muaad, 27, Yemen/New York City: They are ridiculous. For us, as a community, this is an awakening. With other executives orders, you probably would not see [this many] people gathering right now. Especially the Yemeni community, which is usually unengaged civically.

How do these new restrictions impact you or your family?

Many members of my family are green card holders, specifically my mom who is in Yemen. I spoke with her recently about visiting the United States as my wedding is coming up soon. I told her that with the recent executive order signed by the Trump administration, you will not be able to come into the US for 90 to 120 days. We are worried we will have to postpone the wedding due to this.

"If I could tell President Trump one thing about these immigration restrictions, I would say…"

Those restrictions are unconstitutional. I have studied the Constitution and what it means to America. You've only been in the office for ten days and you've created chaos for us.
