Don’t waste your time on people who don’t appreciate you, Leo. Full moons are times for release, so say goodbye to that gig that’s not compensating you well or those friends who don’t hold you in high regard. And more importantly, let go of the negative talk that goes on in your own head. You’re probably your own worst critic.

On a practical level, use the energy of this full moon to also let go of bad spending habits, or any snobby behavior you’ve noticed yourself participating in. Everyone, including you, is just doing their best, so give yourself—and everyone else!—a break. Full moons are tiring and emotional, so be kind to yourself and those around you.

Communication planet Mercury and sweet, sexy Venus both enter fellow Fire sign Aries on March 6, and Aries season officially begins on March 20 with the sun’s entrance into the sign of the ram. Having these planets in confident, pioneering Aries will activate the sector of your chart that rules travel and higher learning, so if you’re abroad or in school (or applying for a program) this will be an especially energizing season for you.

Mercury in Aries is likely to bring news from faraway places, even if you’re not traveling, and Venus in Aries will finding you learning about what you love and value. Aries season is the perfect time to go on an adventure and take a risk—but watch out for Mercury retrograde, which begins on March 22 and ends on April 15. (We’ll talk more about that later!)

March 11 is a busy day. Daylight savings begins, Mercury squares off with Saturn, Mars connects with Uranus, and your planetary ruler, the Sun, connects with Pluto. Mercury’s clash with Saturn will create a gloomy vibe, and people will be focused on serious matters. Don’t expect a lot of laughter! Fortunately, things will shift once warrior Mars connects with electric Uranus—the mood will become much more energetic, creativity will be in the air, and some genius, creative flashes of insight will arrive. Finally, the Sun, which is the planet of life and vitality, will connect with Pluto, the planet of death and rebirth, helping us undergo intense transformations. Change will be in the air, and you’ll be able to realize your power.

An important fresh start around intimacy arrives on March 17: There will be a new moon in emotional Water sign Pisces. This is a powerful time to connect with your partners and yourself, to let go of the past, to explore your feelings of hurt, grief, and fear, and to sit in the darkness of the new moon with yourself. A new cycle around your sex life will arrive with this new moon, as will an opportunity to tackle complicated financial issues. Work with the energy by returning a favor to someone who has helped you in the past, as Pisces vibes are all about generosity and closure. If you’re in a witchy mood, casting a spell about sex, intimacy, or financial matters is another way to use the energy.

On the same day—March 17—Mars enters Capricorn, bringing you a big boost in energy, helping you tackle your chores, and inspiring you to engage in some physical activity. Perhaps go for a hike to honor the goat half of the mystical mergoat creature that represents Capricorn. Capricorn is one of the hardest working signs in the zodiac, so you can also expect that you’ll make a big dent in getting all your tasks done at work or at home.

An adventurous, light, bright energy will be in the air on March 20. Not only is this the beginning of Aries season, but messenger planet Mercury will also meet lovely Venus. This is a fantastic day to take a trip, try something new, and connect with friends and lovers. Mercury retrograde begins soon after, on March 22; things will begin slowing down once that happens. You’ll find yourself rethinking many of the conversations and agreements you’ve made throughout the month, and you’ll rethink your philosophical leanings as well. You may find yourself considering things you’ve always thought to be true.

If you’re traveling, this Mercury retrograde will be especially tricky since it’s occupying the sector of your chart that rules foreign places Ditto if you’re in school. Double-check your itinerary and your sources on any papers you’re meant to hand in. Mercury retrogrades often find us running into people from the past, so watch out, Leo! We all know you’ve had a very interesting past.

The Sun squares off with Mars on March 24 and with Saturn on March 29. Circle these days as important turning points for you. You’ll find yourself taking action—expect to be more aggressive than usual—and setting boundaries. Mars and Saturn are both in no-bullshit Capricorn, and you won’t have time for any nonsense. Tasks are piling up around you, and the Sun in fearless Aries will push you to do whatever it takes to move things forward. But do remember: Mercury is retrograde, which does means things will go more slowly than usual. Also note that Saturn is in the mix at the end of this month, which means that much of what you’re doing now will bring pay-offs in the long run, not immediate rewards. Don’t let that dishearten you, little lion.

The month closes with a full moon Libra. As an Air sign, Libra knows communication is key to healthy relationships; you’ll probably find yourself getting some things off your chest during this full moon. Mercury will be retrograde, and the world won’t seem to make any sense, but this full moon will illuminate the ways in which you’ve been looking at things the wrong way. New information may come to light—but don’t make any bets yet (remember that Mercury is retrograde!). Just slow down, rest, take in the new info, and sit with it. It’s Aries season, and Aries is a confrontational as hell sign, but Libra vibes want us all to chill out and compromise. Finding a middle ground is the best way to work with this full moon.

On the same day as the full moon—March 31—love-and-money planet Venus will enter luxurious Earth sign Taurus, bringing blessings to the career and popularity sector of your chart. This transit will also find you gaining rewards and recognition. This is sure to be a glamorous time! Venus in Taurus wants you to sort out what’s valuable to you. Why are you working so hard? Now is a great time to get clearer on your goals, as well as what you want out of your them—sure, you want to be a famous personality, but why? What will you do with all that fame and fortune?
