Aries, November 2015

Communication is huge for you this month, Aries! A lot will become clear to you—expect some major shakeups.

In our monthly horoscopes, we provide a more in depth look at what's happening in the sky. If you are not a Aries and/or don't care about Arieses, you can read the rest of our monthly horoscopes here.

Communication is huge for you this month, Aries! Mercury, the planet of communication, enters sexy, intense, and tortured Water sign Scorpio on November 2. This will have a major, positive, affect on your psychic abilities, and it will have you thinking and talking about intimate issues in your life concerning sexuality, intimacy, shared resources, and all varieties of transformation (perhaps you'll find yourself leaving a job, getting over a relationship, or experiencing a "rebirth" after a difficult time). Scorpio is a sign that isn't satisfied with the superficial, so Mercury's time in Scorpio will create opportunities for you to investigate and communicate about all the deep and emotional issues in your life.

November 2 is big for another reason: Venus meets Mars, both in Virgo, bringing a sweet feeling of unity and contentment to your life. Obviously, when passionate Mars and seductive Venus come together, we can expect some love and affection. Both Venus and Mars are about desire, with Mars conquering and Venus seducing. But keep in mind that these two planets are currently in cool and practical Virgo—don't overdo any public displays of affection (Virgo energy can be very private) and don't wear clothing that's difficult to take off. Virgo may be the virgin of the zodiac, but it's still an Earth sign, making it physical and lusty.

I'm excited for the Venus/Mars combination in Virgo for you, because It will bring some regularity and routine into your life. You can be a little impulsive and hasty, so any transit that inspires you to check in with your routine and habits is a good thing. Do you have the kind of regularity and dependability you want from your partners? If not, now's the time to reconsider whether you want to continue dating them. Do your relationships fit in well with your schedule and life, or are you always rushing to work or school in yesterday's underwear because you crashed at your lover's place? If your relationships are clashing with your ability to lead a smooth and comfortable life, this transit will ask you to examine why you're making your life so complicated.

The Venus/Mars meet-up will affect other areas of life, too, not just romance. If you've been hoping to get healthy or kick a habit, this is a great time to start. If you're wanting to begin a spiritual practice involving meditation, now's an excellent time for that as well. Venus and Mars spend an awful lot of time in the sky chasing one another. When they finally meet, there's a feeling of contentment and peace in the air—I hope you enjoy some relaxation in your life in early November, Aries!

You're an optimistic and friendly Fire sign, but you're also very independent. Time alone is super important for you! You can get majorly burned out if you don't get enough space to decompress without other people's energy cramping your space. Virgo is the Hermit card in the tarot, and yes, Venus and Mars love love, but this might be a really great time for you to get away, reflect, and just love yourself.

The Venus in Virgo vibes don't last for long. On November 8, Venus enters Libra, your opposite sign! You might feel a little luxurious and lazy over the next few weeks—but, again, you do have a tendency to "go hard," so slowing down is probably exactly what you need. This is a great time to honestly examine your relationships and ask if you're finding balance (a Libra key word), not just around love, but also the other Venusian themes, like money and your feelings around beauty.

November 11 brings a New Moon in Scorpio, which will start a new cycle for you around intimacy and sharing. The next day, November 12, Mars (your ruling planet) enters Libra, a sign Mars absolutely hates to be in. Again, you're impulsive, Aries, and admit it: You like to fight. Mars is Libra will provide lots of opportunities to feel slighted, impatient, and annoyed. Mars is the warrior planet, whereas Libra is all balance and art and beauty— the two energies don't mix well. Hang up your weapons, Aries: This will be a good time to compromise and think your battles through. You're starting a new journey around intimacy with that deep and sexy New Moon in Scorpio, don't begin it by screaming at your lover for some perceived offense— think it through and talk it out!

On November 18, Neptune stations direct. Neptune is the planet of dreams and illusions, and when Neptune begins moving forward, we move forward as well around all the Neptunian things in our lives: What's your greatest wish, Aries? Are you ready to take some initiative in attaining it? Neptune is currently in Pisces, a sensitive and psychic Water sign, so it's likely that part of your dream at this time is to connect more deeply with your spiritual, intuitive self. Retreat is also a keyword I would suggest you meditate on during this time, as well as rest.

Mercury enters Sagittarius and Venus squares Pluto on November 20, which should be quite an interesting day. Lovely Venus challenging power planet Pluto could manifest in your life as tension between your relationship to others and your career, your reputation, or even themes around popularity. Watch out for manipulative moves, and definitely watch out for jealousy. Your lover may love you, but they don't love everyone liking your selfies.

Luckily for you, Aries, Mercury, the planet of communication, enters fellow Fire sign Sagittarius today. Sag is a philosophical, high minded energy that will add an extra dash of open mindedness and understanding to your way of thinking. Sagittarius vibes are so wise— you'll be able to descend (or, condescend) from your high horse to forgive any envious actions your partners might take. With Mercury in Sagittarius, you "get it"; you'll feel like you've been there, done that, and gotten a degree on the subject—so you totally understand why someone would be super jealous or even intimated by you! In all seriousness, yes, the Venus/Pluto challenge could result in some crappy, envy based actions in your relationships and around your goals or work; however, this could also be a very energizing, clearing, transformative, and hugely passionate energy. Mercury in Sagittarius is a deeply philosophical energy. Even though it's a little "know it all," it's also lovely for deep, intellectual and hilarious conversations that last late into the night.

On November 22, the Sun enters adventurous Sagittarius, which might inspire you to do some exploring. If you're planning to travel, the Sun in cultured Sag is a great time to do it. The "exploring" could also be done mentally— if you're thinking about signing up for a class or even going back to school, now's a great time. If you're currently in school, expect your focus to get even more intense—on November 29, the Sun meets the planet of contracts and commitments, Saturn, so whatever you do academically (or involving travel, or exploration in general) will have a huge impact on your sense of self.

Watch out for the hasty, impulsive behavior you're so famous for on November 23, when Venus opposes erratic Uranus. Expect shakeups to your schedule and maybe even a canceled date; however, be mindful and take it slow. This combination can be crazy creative and exciting, even lucky, when it comes to pleasure. Be open to any unusual ideas that may pop up concerning your relationships, both romantic and otherwise. Whenever Uranus is involved, we know it's time to evolve and innovate!

The Full Moon in Gemini on November 25 will bring you some clarity around communication. If there's a puzzle in your life that needs solving, the missing piece may come through. Themes around clarity continue the next day on November 26, when Saturn squares Neptune. Saturn is the planet of time, boundaries and reality— it's pretty much everything that Neptune isn't. Neptune is boundless, dreamy and unreal. When these two planets challenge each other, it inspired us to question what we believe is true, what our boundaries are whether or not we've been seeing clearly. Saturn is a no-bullshit planet, but Neptune can sometimes be a load of bullshit. At the end of the month, Aries, I want you to consider what beliefs you have that may no longer be true for you and to focus on clear communication.
