Fall is in full swing. The Sun is in Scorpio, a Fixed, stubborn, middle of the season sign (just like you). Scorpio is the sign of transformation and rebirth: Are you ready for some changes?

Expect a boost in your psychic skills on November 2 when the planet of logic, Mercury, enters ultra magical and mystical Water sign Scorpio. Expect to get a little more private as well— you're normally such an exhibitionist, Leo, but Scorpio vibes influence you to become a little more discreet. That said, the big news on November 2 is that peace-loving, beauty queen Venus will conjunct warrior Mars, both of which will be in Earth sign Virgo. This is a hugely sensual (and sexual) combination that will have an impact, not just on your romantic relationships but also on your finances. Energy-wise, there's a huge climax that occurs when Mars, the conqueror, finally meets with lovely Venus in the sky; for you, Leo, this climax will involve feeling like you "have what you need," both materially speaking and sensually speaking. Virgo is a materialistic Earth sign: This is all about money and physical touch. Venus won't be in Virgo for too long— on November 8, Venus enters Libra, shifting the conversation from material issues to communication issues. If there's something you're hoping to sort out with someone, the diplomatic Libra vibes should aid you.

If you're looking to move, redecorate, connect with family, or clear your sacred or safe spaces, the November 11 New Moon in private and protective Scorpio is a great time for you to do so. The next day, November 12, warrior planet Mars enters logical Libra, which will bring some fierceness to the way you communicate. The themes around expression and understanding will continue on November 17, when the Sun in Scorpio meets Mercury (also in Scorpio), bringing a sense of mental clarity. This will occur just in time for Neptune (the planet of confusion and illusion) to station direct on November 18. Neptune is the planet of dreams and dreamers— its forward motion is great for manifestation of said dreams. Plus, with the Sun, the planet of clarity, meeting up with Mercury, the planet of communication, in psychic Water sign Scorpio, this a great celestial line up for you verbalizing what you want moving forward. You will especially notice this in your home life, Leo. Somehow, the sneaky scorpion always ends up slinking into your domestic realm, so whenever planets meet in Scorpio, we know something about your family, roommates, home, roots, or plain old private/safe space will come up for you to work with.

The Sun enters Sagittarius on November 22, ushering in a month-long journey of the Sun highlighting issues in your creative world (want to join a band? Begin working on an art project? Now's your time) and also your dating life (holiday parties may amount to something more than gross eggnog—but this is probably true for you every year; Leos know how to make the most of a party). If you have kids in your life, themes around them will also pop up. Sagittarius is the sign of the seeker and adventurer, and it's a party loving Fire sign just like you, Leo. I expect that, over the next month or so, you'll find some inspiration or extra energy to figure out what moves you.

The Full Moon in Gemini on November 25 will be invigorating, especially on the social front. Full Moons bring illumination and a spike in energy; however, it's the other astrological aspects at the end of the month that will be the most interesting for you, Leo. On November 26, Saturn squares Neptune, and on November 29 the Sun squares Neptune and conjuncts Saturn. This is a whole lot of very different energies, so how they end up playing out in your life is sure to be noteworthy.

The Saturn/Neptune square is one of three entanglements these two planets will get into over the next year. It will force you to manage some tension between your "fun" life and your "serious" life— think: Your cool gyno showing up at every show you go to (and talking to your ex), or some one night stand holding you through a spiritual crisis (probably not what they signed up for when they left with you, but whatever). This is a long-lasting astrological transit. Take note on how deep issues confront the "light and easy" parts of your life over the next year—and definitely watch out for things you didn't think were that important or serious suddenly become so, or vice versa! With Neptune, nothing is as it seems, but Saturn, the planet of structure, is not so into that: What you thought you knew about your world will be changing significantly.

Leo's ruling planet, the Sun, is the center of the solar system. As occultists say: As above, so below. The Sun is center stage in the heavens, and you Lion, are center stage down here on earth. Nothing can outshine you! But you do have one weakness— your light can be dimmed. Neptune, the planet of haze, the ocean, depths, fantasy, and delusion, can roll in and obscure your light behind a dense fog. Neptune's veil can bring romance, mystery, excitement, and fantasy, but it can also bring lies— the Sun's all about transparency, light… it doesn't really flow with fog and confusion.

The Sun illuminates. It's not going to lie to you: It shines down on earth showing you exactly what's what, while dreamy Neptune likes to creep in the shadows at night, confusing you as to whether that coat stand is indeed a coat stand or something else. The Sun/Neptune square's energy will challenge how clearly you see things— are you being realistic about what's going on around you? This combination could be really helpful, exposing what you need better understanding on in your life. However, if you've had your head up you ass, you'll be in for some major disillusionment. My best advice to you at this time is to be honest with yourself.

But sometimes it's not all in your hands and there's nothing to "be honest" about. Even if you're doing as best you can to stay savvy and critical of the situations and people around you, things can happen! This Sun/Neptune square will pull the plug on all fantasies. Either you will find clarity (yes, sometimes it's that easy) or the lies around you will start crumbling so badly that you can't "ignore it" anymore. Or the stress will push you further down a rabbit hole of escapism, taking your further from your goals and closer to your demise… Like the Sun drifting toward a black hole. You don't want that to be you, right, Leo?

This Sun/Neptune challenge will be particularly illuminating (or confusing) around issues that deal with pretty sensitive stuff— your roots, your home, your family, and the resources you share with others. Intimacy issues will also be highlighted, so if something funky is going on in your sex life, it's time for you to be honest about it all. Be sure to seek out support— sometimes another point of view is very helpful when Neptune's confusing you about what's real and what's fake. Feeling grounded and safe is really important to you at this time.

That's not all the Sun will be doing on November 29— the Sun will also be meeting with the taskmaster of the zodiac, Saturn. While Neptune's illusory and nebulous, Saturn's as grounded and real as it gets. The Sun and Saturn will meet in fellow Fire sign Sagittarius, the seeker of knowledge and swiper of credit cards (Sag people are gluttons, if you didn't already know), creating a sense of strength and impenetrability that may keep you feeling grounded through the Neptunian haze— an anchor, perhaps, is a nice image to hold in your mind considering the cosmic weather.

Saturn is associated with melancholy, so you might feel a little down, but it's also the planet of wisdom and longevity: I'm certain you'll be able to figure out how to make this energy work for you, Leo. Be the boss— own it, whatever it is. Take your time. Consider your ancestors, your roots: What would your momma suggest you do during this time?

Behave like the most mature version of yourself around this time to make the most of the current transits— doing so will have a very strengthening effect on your creative life and also on your love life. Immaturity will lead to you feeling extremely restricted, confined, or fearful of something having to do around performance, creativity, romance or dating.

Changes are on the way in November, Leo, but it's all very good because if there's one thing you don't like, it's fakery. Yay for a less fake life! Yay for real friends, real lovers, real support, and real worthwhile projects! How you think about things is also up for a change— you can be a stubborn lion, but stay logical and smart about it all, and November will bring solid new beginnings.
